Lisa was born in Victoria and grew up on Vancouver Island, where the stunning beauty of the Canadian West Coast has been a constant presence in her life.

Lisa always knew that she would be an artist and followed this self-knowledge through a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Victoria, where she specialized in drawing, printmaking, and art education.

Lisa's experience in both printmaking and drawing led to an artistic style which is highly resolved, as is evidenced in her watercolour botanical paintings. In recent years Lisa has embraced the bolder language and creative freedom of acrylics.

Her paintings, drawings and whimsical sculptures are in collections in Western Canada, the United States and the UK.

Lisa's paintings are available for sale at her home studio, as well as at the Nanaimo Art Gallery, Downtown, and at Gallery 223, also in downtown Nanaimo.

Lisa currently lives in the Vancouver Island community of Lantzville.
